Pest Control Scope of Service

 

ARJUNDEEP PEST MANAGEMENT PLAN

 

Description of Services: ARJUNDEEP shall provide a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Plan for CLIENT premises. This Plan shall be in accordance with the clients System’s IPM Policy. IPM is a process for achieving long-term, environmentally sound pest suppression through the use of a variety of technological and management practices. Control strategies in an IPM Plan should extend beyond the application of pesticides to include structural and procedural modifications that reduce the food, water, harborage and access used by pests.

 

ARJUNDEEP shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to accomplish the surveillance, trapping and pesticide application components of the IPM Plan. The CLIENT shall also provide detailed, site-specific recommendations for structural and procedural modifications necessary to achieve pest prevention.

 

 

Recommended Integrated Pest Management:

                  

 

  1. Crawling Insect Control: (Against Cockroaches, Ants, Beetles, Spiders etc.)

Our technician will use various methods and materials to probe and flush the various insects from their hiding and /or harborage areas. The results obtained from this probing and flushing, along with an inspection of the surrounding area, will dictate any secondary treatment procedures including application of appropriate pesticides, placement of Gel baits etc.

A customized Pesticide Application Report will be required over and above the normal service ticket. This report includes all areas that are treated, the pesticides used and any findings within the areas relative to pest activity and / or sanitation. This report shall be submitted at the conclusion of each month’s service for the permanent records.

  1. Report include: a> The details of infestation. b> Action necessary to eliminate infestation i.e. general hygienic measures, proofing or any other recommendations for pest prevention, in-order to achieve the requirements needed for pest free environment.
  2. Future actions & recommendations as preventive measures.

1/a.     Treatment specifications:

  • Initial Basic Disinfestations: This service completely clears your premises of the existing infestation and sets up an unseen Chemical barrier which bars and prevents any further access for insects inside the premises.
  • Twice in a Month Inspection & Spot Treatment: This service assures that the chemical barrier remains effective and that it has not dissipated with weathering and other regular cleaning activities.
  • Call-Back Service: ARJUNDEEP Pest Control maintains these services as part of our Quality Service Assurance. We maintain a 24-hours call service to respond and spot treat any part of the premises that may become re-infested for whatever reasons.

 

  1. Rodent Control:

                                       

 

Rodent bait feeding stations will be deployed throughout the outside areas of the CLIENT premises. All rodent feeding stations will be “secured” in a manner acceptable in the pest control industry.

A fresh supply of SFDA. Registered rodenticides will be maintained in the rodent feeding bait stations.

 

All bait stations will be boldly numbered and their placement depicted on a map of the facility. This map is to be a part of the customized Rodent Control Report which is to be submitted after each service. The report will document device by device, the activity found.

All bait station will be serviced a minimum of 2 times a Month

 

Rodent multiple catch traps will be placed inside the infested CLIENT premises according to the manufactures recommendations.

 

All multiple catch traps will be serviced a minimum of once per week.

 

Frequency of   Service Once a month, Fortnight Visits, Weekly Visits & Daily Visits

 

Site inspection & Survey reports etc.

  1. Actions & measures shall be taken for rodent control if required & this consist but not limited to:

 

  1. Placing & distributing of Rodenticide Pallets baits/ Block baits etc.
  2. Placing & distributing of Rat Traps & Glue Traps to the High risk/Sensitive areas.
  3. Follow-up by filling the empty plates, changing the bait from time to time to prevent the resistance power.

 

2/a.  Treatment specification:

  • Initial Basic Disinfestations: This service aims at eradicating the pets out of the premises by the quickest and most expedient means.
  • Twice in a week Inspection Service: A review of the results achieved and back-up control.
  • Call-Back Service: To treat any re infestation or occurrence of

 

 

  1. Flying Insect Control: ( Against Flies & Mosquitoes)

                                 

 

ARJUNDEEP shall carry out Flying Insect such as flies & mosquitoes control using modern hygienic techniques by a very specialized treatment by misting or Thermal Fogging method at all indoor & outdoor of  CLIENT premises.

Frequency of Service: Twice or Thrice in a week Service visits depend on infestation.

 

  1. Site inspection & report for the action and measures

      required.

  1. Report include: a> The details of infestation. b> Action necessary to eliminate infestation i.e. general hygienic measures, proofing or any other recommendations for pest prevention, in-order to achieve the requirements needed for pest free environment
  2. Weekly Service there will be residual spray for breeding sites if any i.e. drainage systems, dumping area etc. OR by using Thermal Fogging method.
  3. Distribution of Fly Baits station.
  4. Recommendations for future actions.

 

  3/a.  Service Specifications:

  • Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) Space Spray: A very specialized treatment by ULV space spray is sufficient to clear the premises depending on the severity of the infestation, and the local conditions that may enhance breeding. This service is sold separately and frequencies depend on budget considerations and the degree of infestations.
  • Thermal Fogging: A method of spraying that is primarily directed against mosquitoes, and drives flying insects off the premises for a short duration, this method is employed in small residential areas, where actual area control is beyond the scope of service, and the aim is to clear a garden or a backyard of nuisance pests for a short while.
  1. Stray Animals Control:

 

                 

ARJUNDEEP shall carry out stray animal such as Dogs & CAT with in CLIENT premises on request. A thorough check within CLIENT premises shall be conducted by our Supervisor to ensure that there are no stray Dogs & Cats present in the Plant premises.

ARJUNDEEP shall use for the trapping method & dispose trapped stray Dogs & CAT to remote desert area.

Frequency of   Service: As & when required basis

 

      Monthly service visits, site inspections & control on as & when required basis by using trapping cages or placing                                                                                                               poison            baits or by tranquilizer method.

5/a. Treatment specifications:

  • Initial Clean-up Service: This service completely removes all stray animals, whether dogs or cat, in a very discrete and humane way so as not to hurt any body’s feelings.
  • Call-Back Service: At any time when animals encroach on the premises again, we are ready to come out as many times as necessary to drive the animals off.

CATEGORIES OF SERVICES:

 

ARJUNDEEP shall perform the following tasks for the buildings listed in this RFP.

 

  1. Initial Inspection: Conduct an initial inspection during the first month of the contract or when being assigned new properties. The initial inspection is for the ARJUNDEEP to evaluate the needs of the premises and to present findings with the authorities. The following specific points should be addressed:
  2. Identification of problem areas in and around the building;
  3. Discussions of effectiveness of previous efforts;
  4. Contractor access and coordination to all necessary areas;
  5. Establish locations for routine monitoring in common areas; and
  6. Information for the contractor of any restrictions or special safety precautions.

 

  1. Routine Inspection: Conduct regularly scheduled inspection services for pests, set out or collect monitoring traps, and treat units for pests as needed. Inspections should be Weekly
  2. Emergency Inspection: Conduct inspections and necessary treatment in response to requests by CLIENT authorities for corrective action. Emergency Inspections, when requested, are

to be performed within eight (8) hours during normal working hours.

  1. Call-Back Service: Conduct follow-up inspection in response to staff complaints. Routine call-back service shall be furnished within one (1) workday after receipt of notification by CLIENT Authorities.
  2. Special Service: Conduct inspection and pest control as agreed to by ARJUNDEEP and CLIENT Authorities for such as Stray Dogs & CAT not covered by routine inspections.

INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT (IPM) PLAN

ARJUNDEEP shall submit with its proposal the IPM Plan. ARJUNDEEP shall be responsible for carrying out work according to the approved IPM Plan. At a minimum, the IPM Plan shall consist of the following:

 

  1. Materials and Equipment for Service: ARJUNDEEP shall provide current labels and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) of pesticides to be used, and brand names of pesticides application equipment, rodent bait boxes, insect and rodent trapping devices, pest monitoring devices, pest surveillance and detection equipment, and any other pest IPM devices or equipment.

 

  1. Method for Monitoring and Surveillance: ARJUNDEEP shall describe methods and procedures to be used for identifying sites of pest harborage and access, and for making objective assessment of pest population levels throughout the term of the contract. This information must include general locations of common area monitoring traps and responsibilities for routinely checking the traps.

 

  1. Service Schedule for CLIENT Premises: ARJUNDEEP shall provide complete service schedules that include specific day(s) of the week of pest control service visits, and approximate duration of each visit. ARJUNDEEP proposal shall assume a monthly treatment per property. More or less frequent visits may be needed based on inspections. ARJUNDEEP shall explain the basis for adjusting the service schedule.

 

  1. Description of any Structural or Operational Changes That Would Facilitate the Pest Control Effort: ARJUNDEEP shall describe site-specific solutions for observed sources of pest food, water, harborage, and access.

 

CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL

ARJUNDEEP shall provide qualified, professional pest management personnel who:

  1. Understand current practices in this field and have experience providing pest control

Services in a CLIENT environment.

  1. Conduct themselves in a professional and workmanlike manner, with minimal noise and disruption.
  2. Cooperate with the CLIENT representative to assure the progress of this work.
  3. Maintain certification as Commercial Pesticide Applicators in the category of residential and institutional pest control services.
  4. While working at CLIENT properties ARJUNDEEP technician shall wear distinctive uniform clothing that has the ARJUNDEEP name easily identifiable, affixed in a permanent or semi-permanent manner.
  5. Use additional personal protective equipment required for safe performance of work as determined and provided by the contractor that, at a minimum, conform to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for products being used.
  6. Use only ARJUNDEEP vehicles identified in accordance with state and local regulations. 6/10

 

  1. Observes all safety precautions throughout the performance of this contract. Certain areas within some buildings may require special instructions for persons entering these areas.
  2. Will comply with all government regulations as are applicable during the time spent on government property.
  3. Obtain Gate passes, if needed, as supplied by the CLIENT Authorities.

 

 

ARJUNDEEP shall have access to a full-time Supervisor who has demonstrated expertise in structural pest control, especially for rodents, bedbugs and cockroaches will be available for routine and emergency consultation.

 

MINIMUM STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

ARJUNDEEP technician performance will be evaluated in accordance with the approved IPM Plan. If pests appear between scheduled treatment, our technician shall treat the Plant, or buildings where the problem occurred.

 

 

REPORTING

As part of the services provided under this contract, the collection and transmittal of data collected by the ARJUNDEEP during the work is crucial to the effectiveness in managing the IPM.  ARJUNDEEP shall propose reporting and recordkeeping plans to enable CLIENT Authorities to monitor ARJUNDEEP work in a timely and efficient manner. As a minimum, ARJUNDEEP shall submit the reports detailed below. CLIENT Authorities will review and approve report format prior to contract award.

 

  1. Individual Property Reporting (within one week): Upon completion of each treatment cycle at a CLIENT property, ARJUNDEEP shall submit the extermination log with a spreadsheet summary highlighting troubled areas or units within one week after the treatment cycle. ARJUNDEEP shall submit the report in hard-copy format and by email in electronic spreadsheet format. The hard copy must be signed by the CLIENT Authorities.

 

  1. Treatment Cycle Reporting (within one week): Upon completion of a treatment cycle, ARJUNDEEP shall submit by email a general summary report within one week. The treatment summary reports shall include, but not be limited to the following:
  2. Brief narrative discussing the findings as they relate to an increase or new infestations in CLIENT premises, ARJUNDEEP shall recommend for treatment or preventative measures.
